Privacy policy

Scope and contact

This policy describes the static version of makingsenseofcent.com delivered in this package. It is edited by Shahzaib Ali. Privacy enquiries may be sent to makingsenseofcents@gmail.com. Last reviewed 27 September 2026. The policy must be updated before adding a third-party newsletter provider, analytics service, advertising tags, affiliate tracking or an on-site form.

Information you send

The website does not create user accounts, process purchases or accept web-form submissions. If you use the email links, your own email service sends the message and we receive the sender address and contents. We use that information to respond to a question, investigate a correction or process an email-update request. Sending a subscription request is an email to a human inbox, not an automatic mailing-list sign-up. No newsletter delivery system is installed in this release.

Technical site delivery

The hosting provider receives requests needed to deliver pages, styles, scripts and images. It may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, time and response status in operational or security logs. Exact log retention depends on the active hosting configuration and provider; this site does not claim a retention period that has not been confirmed there.

Cookies and scripts

The supplied site code does not set analytics or advertising cookies and includes no third-party tracking scripts. Its local JavaScript controls the mobile menu and category filter in the visitor’s browser. It does not transmit filter choices to our server. The host may use essential security or delivery mechanisms under its own configuration. If the site later adds analytics, ads or embedded services, those technologies and any appropriate choices must be described here before they go live.

Sharing and service providers

The email provider processes messages so they can be delivered and stored; the web host processes technical requests so the site can operate. We do not sell visitor contact information or publish correspondence without permission. We may need to retain or disclose information where applicable law requires it or where necessary to address abuse, but this page does not promise a specific legal outcome.

Retention and choices

We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful to answer and manage editorial requests, subject to email-service operation and applicable requirements. To ask about access, correction or deletion of an email conversation, write from the relevant address and identify the message. We may need to ask a reasonable question to locate it. Browser history and local cache can be managed through your browser settings.

Children and international access

This is general educational content and is not designed to collect information from children. We do not knowingly request children’s personal data. Visitors may read the site from different countries, and the hosting or email provider may process data where its systems operate. We do not claim a particular storage location without reviewing the provider’s current configuration.

Changes to the policy

We will revise this page if how the site handles information materially changes. A new newsletter form, ad technology, analytics, embedded media or digital product checkout would require additional details about the provider, purpose and visitor choices. The date at the top should be updated when such a change is published.
